Smart Meters Single Phase Tuya WiFi ## Overview PC4711-W-TY/3CT is the multi-channel member of the single-phase range. It takes three open-type CT clamps where the other models take two, and reads each circuit independently, so three separate single-phase loads or tenants come from one 19 mm module instead of three. The distinction that matters: this is three single-phase circuits, not a three-phase meter . There are no phases to configure and no phase-to-phase voltage to measure - which is why it is the cheaper route for three single-phase circuits, and why a three-phase service still needs a PC4713. Platform otherwise unchanged: 90-277 V input, CTs 20 A to 300 A, bidirectional metering, 15-second Tuya reporting. ### PC4711-W-TY/3CT Platform and Integration Notes Where the cost saving comes from. Three single-phase circuits metered by one module costs less than a three-phase instrument, because there is no phase-to-phase voltage measurement and no phase configuration to carry. Offline storage, so a dropout is not a gap in the record. Readings are held locally and re-reported automatically once the network returns. A three-phase four-wire, split-phase or 3P3W service needs the PC4713 range, and a 3P3W or delta supply specifically needs the PC4713-W-E-TY/3W. - **Relay output** — not fitted. No. It meters three separate single-phase circuits, not the three phases of one three-phase supply. For a three-phase service choose a PC4713 model. Why choose this instead of a three-phase meter? When the job is three single-phase circuits rather than one three-phase supply: there are no phases to configure, and the host unit costs less than a three-phase instrument. How many circuits can the other PC4711 models measure? Up to two. This version adds a third CT channel, so a third circuit is metered without installing a second device. Which CT ratings can the three channels use? Single-phase ratings run from 20 A to 300 A per channel. The 20 A and 50 A clamps are supported but not held in stock. The 120 A clamp (Ø16 mm) is the default. Does it have an Ethernet port or a relay? Neither. It is the multi-channel metering model: three CT inputs, Wi-Fi with BLE pairing, and Tuya App reporting. Can the three circuits be read, exported and automated separately? Yes. Each circuit has its own current channel, so consumption is reported per circuit rather than as one combined total, and the export covers each sub-circuit as well as the combined reading. Do I have to open the App every day to notice a problem? No. Alerts are pushed to the App. The App is available in German, French, Spanish and Italian as well as English. Does it need a gateway?
