It has the same single-phase metering as the base UniClip, plus a dry-contact relay rated 3 A resistive / 5 A maximum with overload protection . That relay is the difference between a meter that reports and one that acts: switch a small resistive load (a larger load needs a contactor) from the App, or let a Tuya automation switch when measured power crosses a threshold. Above the contact rating it drives an external contactor. Relay status is reported instantly, so the App never shows a stale state. ### PC4711-W-TY/R Platform and Integration Notes Automation on measured values. A dry contact rated 3 A resistive and 5 A maximum with overload protection. That switches a small load directly — a heater, a pump, a charger — or drives an external contactor when the load is larger. Can it switch automatically on a measured threshold? Yes. The measured values are available to Tuya automation, so the relay can act on a power threshold or a schedule instead of only on a manual tap. No. The metering core and the CT channels are unchanged: voltage ±1%, current ±1% at rated current and ±2% at low current, banded per CT rating. No. The Tuya and Open API versions are different hardware and cannot be converted by firmware — buy the model that matches the integration you need.
