Overview
PC4711-W-E-TY/R (UniClip Pro) is the only single-phase model that combines metering, switching and a choice of network path in one 19 mm module: the dry-contact relay of the /R version and the Ethernet 10/100 Mbps port of the /E version together.
The metering core is unchanged - 230 V AC nominal, 90-277 V input range, up to two open-type CTs from 80 A to 300 A, bidirectional measurement and 15-second Tuya reporting - so specifying this model costs the relay and the port, and nothing else.
PC4711-W-E-TY/R Platform and Integration Notes
Automation on measured values. Switching follows the load rather than a manual tap: a Tuya scene can act on a power threshold or a schedule.
Offline storage, so a dropout is not a gap in the record. Readings are held locally and re-reported automatically once the network returns.
Tuya App, and Home Assistant. The meter is read in the Tuya App and also integrates with Home Assistant, where readings and relay state are both available.
PC4711-W-E-TY/R Limits and What to Specify Instead
- Three-phase, split-phase or 3P3W supplies — a single-phase meter; three-phase services need the PC4713 range, and a 3P3W or delta supply specifically needs the PC4713-W-E-TY/3W.
- A third metering channel — this model takes up to two CTs. Three single-phase circuits on one device is the PC4711-W-TY/3CT.
- Your own server as the destination — no Tuya model can be pointed at your own platform; PC4711-W and PC4711-W-485 are the Open API equivalents.
