Overview
PC4713-W-E-TY is the three-phase Tuya meter for boards where Wi-Fi alone is not dependable. It carries the same three CT inputs and the same Tuya platform as the PC4713-W-TY and adds an Ethernet 10/100 Mbps port; the two links run at the same time rather than one standing in for the other.
That matters in metal enclosures, basements and plant rooms, where the wireless signal is attenuated exactly where the meter has to be mounted. The electrical specification is unchanged: three-phase four-wire at 90–277 Vac per phase, plus split-phase and single-phase, with bidirectional measurement on CTs from 80 A to 750 A.
Where the PC4713-W-E-TY Sits in the Range
The family shares one metering core and differs in connectivity and control. This model buys the wired network path and nothing else — metering, platform and reporting behaviour are identical to the PC4713-W-TY. If the relay output is wanted as well, the PC4713-W-E-TY/R has both; if the site's Wi-Fi is dependable, the PC4713-W-TY is the cheaper specification.
As with every model in the Tuya line, a three-phase three-wire or delta supply needs the PC4713-W-E-TY/3W, and a project that has to report into its own cloud or local server needs the Open API hardware — PC4713-W or PC4713-W-485 — which is a different build rather than a firmware option.
PC4713-W-E-TY Platform and Integration Notes
Reports into the Tuya Cloud, read in the Tuya App. Live values and history by day, week, month and year, with grid and energy values exportable to and importable from other Tuya devices for automation.
Offline storage with automatic re-report. Readings are buffered locally and re-sent when a network path returns, so neither link being down leaves a permanent gap.
Notification and language coverage. Alerts reach the App, which carries German, French, Spanish and Italian as well as English.
Reactive and apparent power on the home screen, so power factor is visible at a glance rather than after opening a report.
Standard Tuya DPs keep Home Assistant working. Standard data points are used wherever possible, with custom DPs only where needed.
PC4713-W-E-TY Limits and What to Specify Instead
- Three-phase three-wire and delta — needs the PC4713-W-E-TY/3W.
- Relay output — not fitted. The PC4713-W-E-TY/R carries both this Ethernet port and the dry-contact relay.
- RS485 / Modbus RTU — not offered in the Tuya range. The PC4713-W-485 Open API meter has it.
- Any destination other than the Tuya Cloud — a self-hosted or local server needs the Open API series.
